Legal Assistant

HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded mid-tier law firm to find an experienced Legal Assistant to join their Insurance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a career Legal Assistant to support a team of respected lawyers working across complex insurance matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-level legal support across Insurance Litigation matters
• Managing diaries, meetings and team coordination
• Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence and court documents
• Opening new matters, conducting conflict checks and maintaining accurate files
• Managing electronic filing and ensuring matter records are up to date
• Liaising with clients, courts and internal stakeholders
• Supporting billing processes including WIP, pre-bills and monthly billing cycles

You’ll be joining a well-regarded Insurance Litigation team, supporting experienced legal professionals across a broad range of complex and interesting matters.

Who Will Fit This Opportunity?

We’re looking for a career Legal Assistant who:

• Has 3+ years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
• Has experience supporting an Insurance Litigation team (preferred)
• Experience with legal billing systems such as Aderant, Elite 3E or similar is advantageous.
